New proposed legislation would completely ban BHOs (butane hash oil) within the state. This would put a halt to butane extraction, one of the cheapest and most common methods of developing concentrates.
“Under no circumstances shall a physician and surgeon recommend butane hash oil. Physicians may not recommend high concentrate derivatives such as butane hash oil (a chemical derivative of marijuana that can contain 80% THC).”
Loopholes in the proposed bill are already abundantly apparent as CO2 and alcohol extracts as well as full melts and ice waxes would still be legal.
